Seismic IQ is a division of ACRESWorld, Inc., an architectural and engineering firm founded in January 2000 by experienced professionals with advanced degrees in engineering and architecture. Their professionals have performed over 2,500 assessments for commercial properties. Seismic IQ is not affiliated with insurance firms or seismic retrofitting contractors and they safeguard the confidentiality of your assessments.
Our Strength is in the following areas:
1. Seismic IQ ACI employs registered and licensed professionals, typically engineers and architects, for all examinations and for the analysis of the structure of your residence.
2. Seismic IQ uses principals with solid experience. Seismic IQ’s President, R.F. Chmaytelli, with over 18 years of experience in risk management for the real estate markets has reviewed as many as 2,500 projects nationwide ranging from small residential developments to large-scale commercial and industrial facilities. He is an expert in structural investigations and seismic risk assessments, building systems failure investigations (including forensic engineering), and construction progress monitoring. In fact, a PML reporting protocol he developed in 1995 is so impressive that it is still widely used by many other due-diligence firms. Director of A&E Services Neil Morchower has over 20 years of experience in Architecture. Prior to joining ACI in January 2007, Mr. Morchower was the Director of A&E Services at Commercial Inspectors, LLC since 1997.
3. Seismic IQ uses principals with solid credentials. Seismic IQ’s President, R.F. Chmaytelli, has an M.S. in structural & architectural engineering from the University of Texas, Austin and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is licensed to practice civil engineering in California. Director Morchower studied architecture at the University of Cincinnati. He is a registered architect in California.
4. Seismic IQ maintains a tight network of professionals nationwide, designed to handle its changing volume of business with efficacy. Such quality in turn helps Seismic IQ effectively respond to its varying number of projects without compromising quality.
5. Seismic IQ has the ability to help its clients meet their real estate risk management objectives by having experienced principals familiar with the construction systems and methods used on residential properties get involved with all projects from inception to the final report and follow-ups.
